Maharashtra To Get Heavy Rainfall In Next 2 Days, Predicts Weather Department
Mumbai started getting rainfall from Friday. The Deputy Director General of weather department KS Hosalikar said the amount of rainfall has been heavy. "Many places in suburbs have had more than 250 mm rainfall Today the level of warning has been stepped down from extremely heavy rainfall to heavy rainfall," Mr Hosalikar said. He said the west coast will remain active for the next five to six days and interiors of Maharashtra like Marathawada and Vidarbh are expected to get good rainfall in the next week. Monsoon arrived late this year but after yesterday's showers there has been a total 400 mm rainfall in state. There will be heavy rainfall in the next two days.
