Rajinikanth's Wife Latha To Face Trial For Non-Payment Of Dues: Supreme Court
Actor-politician Rajinikanth's wife Latha Rajinikanth will have to face trial in a fraud case after she failed to pay dues to the tune of Rs. 6.20 crore to advertising firm Ad Bureau. Supreme Court said investigations will be made into the case and she will be put on trial after a chargesheet is filed. The dispute started in 2014 over the movie "Kochadaiiyaan", starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone, which was the directorial debut of Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya.
