Navjot Sidhu Barred From Campaigning For 72 Hours For Violating Poll Code
Congress leader Navjot Sidhu has been barred from campaigning for 72 hours by the Election Commission for his recent comment in which he warned Bihar's Muslim community against dividing its vote. The poll body has "strongly condemned" his comment, barring him from holding public meetings, processions, rallies, road shows, interviews, and from making any public comment. The ban will commence from 10 am on Tuesday. NDTV is one of the leaders in the production and broadcasting of un-biased and comprehensive news and entertainment programmes in India and abroad.
