The poster of a documentary film titled Kaali by filmmaker Leena Manimekalai is making news for the wrong reason. It shows a woman dressed like a Goddess smoking and holding a pride flag. Many have taken to social media demanding her arrest saying it hurts Hindu sentiments. However, the director says the film is about happenings in Toronto city when Goddess Kali takes a stroll. She has said she is prepared to give her life to safeguard her right to voice.
