The political battle in West Bengal is intensifying ahead of the Assembly elections, with sharp exchanges between Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the BJP. At an Eid gathering, Mamata Banerjee accused the Centre of voter suppression and alleged attempts to destabilise her government.
