दिल्ली के जहांगीरपुरी में हर साल हनुमान जयंती पर निकलने वाली शोभा यात्रा की पुलिस ने इजाजत दे दी है...हिंदू संगठनों को पहले पुलिस ने इस शोभा यात्रा को निकालने की इजाजत देने से इंकार कर दिया था...जिस पर हिंदू संगठन हाईकोर्ट चले गए थे...अप्रैल 2022 में हनुमान जयंती के जुलूस के दौरान दो समूहों के बीच हिंसक झड़प में 8 पुलिसकर्मियों समेत 9 लोग घायल हो गए थे...पुलिस ने उसी घटना को ध्यान में रखते हुए इस साल शोभा यात्रा की इजाजत देने से इंकार कर दिया... जिस पर हाईकोर्ट ने कहा अतीत में हुई अप्रिय घटनाएं जरूरी नहीं कि प्रचलित धार्मिक प्रथाओं से उत्पन्न होने वाले कार्यक्रमों के आयोजन को रोक दें...कोर्ट ने पुलिस से इस पर जल्द फैसला लेने को कहा था...इसी के बाद पुलिस ने शोभा याज्ञा निकालने की इजाजत दे दी...
